I & A Automotive Technicians and Leadership Academy (IAATLA) is a not-for-profit 501-c3 advanced Automotive Trades and Leadership Academy. This Social Organization provides automotive technical training to underserved, underemployed, felons re-entering the community, high school graduates and the like.

The founders organized due to a young capable workforce looking for lucrative and challenging careers. Plus, several automotive technician, trade and high school programs have ceased. In addition, the scarcity of competent, and skilled automotive technicians are aging out. Many are retiring without mentees, and understudies. The next generation of automotive technicians are seeking more than just a salary. They’re looking for stability, longevity, and ownership. The pair Isaiah Thomas, and Gene Williams are uniquely qualified to make IAATLA a fixture in Bedford Heights Ohio.
